This new single family home was built on a property rich with history of farming and pastures. This contemproary take on the historic potato barns modernizes traditional materials. The thatched gabled ends are reminiscent of historic construction methods, and reference the abundant phragmites of the area.

DO’s founder Greg Scherer completed this project as Job Captain while at Bates Masi + Architects, and all imagery is property of Paul Masi.
